COVID-19 Safe New Starter Process
Staying COVID-19 safe is a top priority for us here at 3-2-5 and that is why we have a new starter process that is completely virtual until your child starts pre-school.
The New Process:
When we receive an enquiry about a space, you will be sent a link to the pre-school virtual tour video and a date will be arranged for you to have a chat with the pre-school manager via zoom.
In the zoom meeting the manager will share the ethos of the pre-school and our approach to supporting children’s learning and development. The manager will share how the pre-school is COVID -19 safe, and answer any questions you may have. We then give you time to think about all that was discussed before we ask if you can inform us if you would like a space for their chid at pre-school.
We will email/post you an application form to complete.
A start date is agreed for the child and a zoom meeting with your child’s key person is arranged.
The key person Zoom meeting is held with you and your child. The key person will explain how the pre-school will look on your child’s first settling session. Discuss any concerns and complete the relevant key person paperwork. They will also get to ask what your child’s likes and dislikes are as well and give your child the opportunity to get to know their key person before they start.
Your child will be given two free 30-minute settling in sessions before their initial start date. You will have to remain outside the building currently due to the COVID-19 safety legislation.
Once you are happy with the arrangements, your child will officially start with us.
With your permission, we will set up a Tapestry account for your child and email you the login details so that you can keep up-to-date with your child’s progress. We will also send you newsletter updates on what we are doing at the Pre-School and how you can get involved with your child’s early years development.
